Tintagel United Methodist Church

2015

This project required a complete lighting, audio, projection and entertainment systems design. It included 160m of warm white super-bright LED strip to illuminate the whole of the ceiling, remove shadows and allow enough light for the congregation to read their hymn books. Each of the chapel’s windows has a three-colour super-bright strip around it so that different colours can be used for different services – Christmas, for example, has green and red windows and Easter has yellow ones.

Flat LED panels in the lobby area create a bright and welcoming entrance and a sophisticated control system turns the building lights on during the day and off at night. During the evening, the windows change colour to create a building-in-action look.
